EMPHASIS: S.T.E.P. Operations In Saline County


Captain Robert L. Powell, commanding officer of Troop A, announces that on July 25 and July 26, 2009 members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol will conduct Selective Traffic Enforcement Operations on all major highways in Saline County.
The goal of the operations is to positively impact traffic problems throughout the county by reducing traffic crashes on all major highways. Troopers will accomplish this goal by strict enforcement of all laws related to the use of alcohol, speed, hazardous moving violations, and seat belt compliance.
Captain Powell stated, “Troopers are working hard in Troop A to make the highways safer for the motoring public. Remember to do your part, and be a safe driver.”
