EMPHASIS: Troop I Announces Special Olympics T-shirt Sale

In 2009, Missouri State Highway Patrol employees from Troop I will be raising money to benefit Special Olympics of Missouri (SOMO). Last year, Troop I employees raised $8,768 in sales and donations for Special Olympics.
On Saturday, April 11, 2009, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., you may purchase a Special Olympic item from a Troop I employee at the Lebanon Wal-Mart. Available will be long sleeve T-shirts, short sleeve T-shirts, and baseball caps. As in the past, donations will also be accepted. The unique logo on these items is re-designed every year to commemorate the annual torch run and the celebrated event that takes place when it arrives at the location of the Special Olympic games.
Please help the athletes in your area who are striving to improve themselves by supporting this event.
