EMPHASIS: New Trooper In Montgomery County

Captain D.A. Schmidt, commanding officer, Troop F, Missouri State Highway Patrol, has announced that Trooper Jason D. Miller, a member of the 90th Recruit Class, has been assigned to Troop F, Zone 9, which encompasses Montgomery County.

Trooper Miller, 35, was employed by the Patrol as a recruit on July 1, 2009, and graduated from the Patrol Academy on December 18, 2009. Trooper Miller is a graduate of Parkway North High School, St. Louis, MO. In1999, he earned a bachelor’s of arts degree in English/religious education, and in 2007, he earned a bachelor's of science in biology from Southeast Missouri State University, Cape Girardeau, MO. He will begin his new assignment on January 3, 2010. The new trooper will work under the supervision of Sergeant Brandon M. White, and his field training officer will be Corporal Mark G. Broniec.
