EMPHASIS: Results Of DWI Saturation In Cass County On September 5, 2009

Captain Robert L. Powell, commanding officer of Troop A, Lee’s Summit, announces the results of a driving while intoxicated saturation that was conducted in Cass County.
On September 5, 2009, four officers focused their attention on all major routes in Cass County. As a result of the eight-hour operation, two people were arrested for driving while intoxicated, one person was arrested for felony drug possession, and two arrests were made for misdemeanor drug possession. In addition, 15 citations and 38 warnings were issued.
Captain Powell stated, “Our officers are working hard to make the roadways safer for the motoring public. Remember to do your part. If you are going to drink, please do not drive.”
