EMPHASIS: Troop C Employees To Participate In Red Robin Tip-A-Cop Event For Special Olympics
Captain Ronald S. Johnson, commanding officer of Troop C, is pleased to announce an upcoming fundraiser benefiting the athletes of Special Olympics Missouri. On Saturday, April 18, 2009, from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Troop C employees will participate in the “2nd Annual Red Robin Tip-A-Cop Event” at the Dardenne Prairie Red Robin restaurant, located at Highway N and Highway 40, in St. Charles County. The event is an effort to raise awareness and funds for the 15,311 athletes of Special Olympics. During the event, employees and Special Olympics athletes will be on hand greeting and assisting customers with their orders. All donations made will 100% benefit the athletes of Special Olympics Missouri.
Captain Ronald S. Johnson stated, “Special Olympics is an organization that is near and dear to our hearts. Throughout the year, Troop C employees participate in numerous activities supporting Special Olympics. In 2008, through the Tip-A-Cop Event, t-shirt sales and other fund raising efforts, Troop C employees raised over $11,000 for the athletes of Special Olympics. Please find time to visit Dardenne Prairie Red Robin on Saturday to enjoy dinner and support the Special Olympics organization.”
