EMPHASIS: Click It Or Ticket -- Enforcement Campaign

Captain Dale A. Schmidt, commanding officer of Troop F, Jefferson City, announces that during May 19, 2008 through June 1, 2008, Troop F officers will be conducting a “Click It Or Ticket” enforcement campaign in Boone, Callaway, and Camden counties. The “Click It Or Ticket” campaign is a national enforcement effort to increase seat belt and child restraint use.
“If we stop you for a traffic offense, and you’re not buckled in correctly, you will receive a ticket. No exceptions. No excuses. We will continue to use these enforcement operations because they are essential to our efforts to reduce fatalities and injuries. The Highway Patrol is dedicated to this goal,” stated Captain Schmidt.
