EMPHASIS: Troop G Releases Checkpoint Results


Captain Billy E. Chadwick, commanding officer of Troop G, releases the following information:

A total of 38 summonses and 54 warnings were issued in conjunction with a sobriety checkpoint conducted in Texas County on March 14 near the intersection of U.S. Highway 63 and Missouri Route 32. Totals from this checkpoint include:

12 -- Seat Belt Summonses
3 -- Child Restraint Summonses
2 -- Driver’s License Summonses
5 -- Non-moving Summonses
13 -- No-insurance Summonses
2 -- Misdemeanor Drug Arrests
1 -- Felony Drug Arrest

Captain Chadwick says, “Please don’t drink and drive, wear your seat belt, and always exercise the highest degree of care when you get behind the wheel.”
