EMPHASIS: Troop G Releases Results Of Hazardous Moving Violations/S.T.E.P. Project


Captain Billy E. Chadwick, commanding officer of Troop G, releases the following information:

A total of 74 arrests and 62 warnings were issued in conjunction with a Hazardous Moving Violations/S.T.E.P. project conducted on July 19, in Howell and Oregon counties. Totals from this project include:

1 - DWI arrest
35 - speed arrests
27 - seat belt summonses
2 - other hazardous moving violation arrests
2 - drivers license arrests
4 - non-moving arrests
1 - no-insurance arrest
1 - misdemeanor drug arrest
1 - felony drug arrest

Captain Chadwick says, “The summer months are typically some of the busiest for Missouri roadways. It is very important for all drivers to obey all laws and exercise great caution to insure safe travel for everyone.”
