EMPHASIS: Holiday Enforcement Effort

Captain Duane L. Robinson, commanding officer of Troop H in St. Joseph, announces an enforcement program to help keep motorists safe while traveling during the busy travel days of the Memorial Day weekend. The operation will be conducted on Friday, May 27, 2011, and Monday, May 30, 2011. The hours of the program will be from 12 p.m. to midnight on May 27, 2011 and 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on May 30, 2011. Interstate 35 in Troop H has been selected as the location for the operation.
Troopers will be located in high visibility areas watching for impaired drivers and traffic violations, and enforcing the Patrol’s zero tolerance policy for seat belt and child restraint violations. All other types of hazardous driving also will be addressed.
