EMPHASIS: Results Of Sobriety Saturation In Warren County




Captain Ronald S. Johnson, commanding officer of Troop C, St. Louis, announces the results of a driving while intoxicated saturation conducted on Friday, December 11, 2009, in Warren County. Four Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers conducted the enforcement operation during the eight-hour project.

As a result of the enforcement program, a total of eight arrests were made and 39 warnings were issued. Of the eight arrests, one person was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

“Sobriety saturations continue to be effective in removing intoxicated drivers from our roadways,” stated Captain Johnson. “Troop C officers will be conducting various special enforcement operations throughout 2010, with a goal of reducing traffic crashes and saving lives on Missouri roadways.”
