EMPHASIS: Troop F -- Enforcement Campaign


Captain Dale A. Schmidt, commanding officer of Troop F, Jefferson City, announces that during the remainder of March 2008, Troop F officers will be conducting a traffic enforcement campaign in Boone, Callaway, and Montgomery counties. Officers will be concentrating on speeding, aggressive/impaired driving and failing to wear seat belts.
“If we stop you for a traffic offense, and you’re not buckled in correctly, you will receive a ticket. No exceptions. No excuses. We will continue to use these enforcement operations because they are essential to our efforts to reduce fatalities and injuries. The Highway Patrol is dedicated to this goal,” stated Captain Schmidt.
