EMPHASIS: Marijuana Cultivation Arrest In Osage County


On September 5, 2007, Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop F troopers and members of the Osage County Sheriff’s Department arrested two individuals after observing 18 cultivated marijuana plants growing near their residence. Arrested was a married couple from Bland, MO.
The couple was arrested after officers from both agencies conducted an investigation that located cultivated marijuana plants in an outdoor growing operation. They were arrested for cultivation of marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of an explosive device. Both individuals were released by Osage County authorities pending the filing of formal charges.
