EMPHASIS: Results of "10-Mile Trooper" Project In Troop F.


Captain Dale A. Schmidt, commanding officer, Troop F Headquarters, Jefferson City, announced today the results of the “10-Mile Trooper” saturations that were held on Interstate 70 in Boone, Cooper and Montgomery counties. The projects were held on May 22, 2009 and May 25, 2009. During the operations a total of 275 vehicles were stopped. The following is a list of enforcement contacts during the operation:

2 -- DWI
83 -- Speed
22 – Seat Belt
1 -- Child Restraint
10 -- Other Hazardous Moving
32 -- Non-Moving
8 – Driver’s License
5 -- Insurance
1 -- Felony Warrant Arrest
1 -- Misdemeanor Arrest
149 -- Warnings

Captain Schmidt stated, “We are pleased that no fatality crashes occurred throughout the 13 counties
which encompass Troop F. We congratulate the motoring public for their efforts in safe driving.”
