EMPHASIS: Captain Kim E. Hull Retires May 1, 2013

Colonel Ron Replogle, superintendent of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, announces the following retirement:

Captain Kim E. Hull, director of the Information & Communications Technology Division, will retire effective May 1, 2013, after 34 years of dedicated service to the citizens of this state.

Hull entered the Patrol's Law Enforcement Academy as a member of the 50th Recruit Class on December 7, 1979. After graduating from the Academy, he was assigned to Troop A, Zone 4, Platte County. On October 1, 1986, he was promoted to corporal and designated assistant zone commander of Zone 4, Platte County. Hull was promoted to sergeant and designated zone supervisor of Zone 6, Clay County, on June 1, 1990. On September 1, 1994, he was promoted to lieutenant and assigned to the Field Operations Bureau at General Headquarters, Jefferson City. Hull was promoted to captain on September 1, 1997. In 1999, Hull graduated from the Northwestern University School of Police Staff & Command. He transferred to the Technical Services Bureau at General Headquarters on July 1, 2001. Hull was designated director of the Communications Division on September 1, 2007. When the Communications Division and the Information Services Division merged and became the Information & Communications Technology Division in September 2011, Hull was named director of this new division.

Capt. Hull was born in Versailles, MO. He graduated from Morgan County R-II High School in Versailles, in 1973. Capt. Hull and his wife, Greta, reside in Jefferson City. They have five children.
