EMPHASIS: Felony Marijuana Arrest In Callaway County

On October 15, 2008, the Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop F Eradication Team conducted an investigation, which resulted in the arrest of two individuals at a residence in rural Callaway County. A subsequent search of the residence revealed approximately 10 pounds of processed marijuana. Arrested were Thomas V. Poeschel, 36, of Mokane, MO, and Rory D. Harvey, 49, of Columbia, MO. They were taken to the Callaway County Jail where they will be held until the posting of bond.
Poeschel and Harvey were arrested after troopers conducted an investigation that led to the location of processed marijuana inside the Poeschel residence. They were arrested for felony possession of marijuana and the manufacturing of a controlled substance.
The charges for which Poeschel and Harvey were arrested are mere accusations and are not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of these charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction, whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
