EMPHASIS: Troop C Assigns Four New Troopers


Captain Ronald S. Johnson, commanding officer of Troop C, is pleased to announce four new troopers will be assigned to the Troop C, Weldon Spring, area. The new troopers were members of the Patrol’s 97th Recruit Class, which graduated December 20, 2013. There were 30 troopers in this recruit class. The troopers completed 26 weeks of highly intense training at the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy in Jefferson City, Missouri. The new troopers report to their assignments on January 6, 2014. They will be working with a field training officer for approximately three months, before working independently. The new troopers assigned to Troop C and their assignments are as follows:

Trooper Daniel P. Duddleston, of Lake St. Louis, Missouri, was assigned to Zone 1, serving St. Louis County. Trooper Duddleston graduated from Francis Howell North High School, in St. Charles, Missouri. He graduated from The University of Missouri-St. Louis with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. Trooper Duddleston is married to Sara (Galla).

Trooper Tyler G.F. Johnson, of Mansfield, Illinois, was assigned to Zone 14, serving St. Francois and Washington counties. Trooper Johnson graduated from Blue Ridge High School in Farmer City, Illinois. He graduated from the University of Illinois-Springfield with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice.

Trooper Andrew J. Mayer, of Florissant, Missouri, was assigned to Zone 5, serving Pike and Lincoln counties. Trooper Mayer graduated from McCluer North High School in Florissant, Missouri. He graduated from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri, with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. Trooper Mayer was previously employed by the city of Florissant.

Trooper Jon P. Moller, of St. Louis, Missouri, was assigned to Zone 3, serving St. Louis County. Trooper Moller graduated from Victor J. Andrew High School in Tinley Park, Illinois. In 2009, he graduated from Illinois State University in Normal Illinois, with a bachelor's degree in physics.
