EMPHASIS: Two Pounds Of Marijuana Seized By Highway Patrol

On October 28, 2007, at approximately 3:30 p.m., a member of the Missouri State Highway Patrol stopped a 2001 Toyota Sequoia traveling eastbound on Interstate 70 near the 200-mile marker in Warren County.
Consent to search the vehicle was obtained and approximately two pounds of marijuana was located in a vacuum cleaner in the rear cargo area of the vehicle.
The driver, Murry C. Colvin, 47, of Aurora, CO, and the passenger, Gerald K. Webb, 39, of Charlotte, NC, were arrested for possession with intent to deliver marijuana. Colvin and Webb were transported to the Warren County jail.
The charges for which the above subjects are accused are mere accusations and not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
