EMPHASIS: Driver Examination Changes And Temporary Closings Within Troop A

The following changes and closings of specific driver examination stations within Troop A will occur in July and August.

On July 25, 2014, there will be no testing in Richmond due to mandatory training. Testing will resume during normal business hours the following week.

Effective July 28, 2014, the testing times for the locations served by the Liberty driver examination traveling crew will change to the following:

Platte City ------------ Monday ------ 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. & 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Carrollton ------------ Tuesday ------ 10:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. & 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Excelsior Springs --- Wednesday --- 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. & 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Richmond ------------ Thursday ----- 9:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. & 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Liberty ---------------- Friday -------- 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. & 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

On August 5, 2014, the Harrisonville driver examination station will be closed for elections. Testing will resume during normal business hours the next day.

From July 28, 2014 thru August 20, 2014, the driver examination station located in the Missouri State Fairgrounds in Sedalia will be temporarily relocated during the Missouri State Fair. The testing will be conducted at the United Methodist Church Celebration Center, 1701 W. 32nd Street, Sedalia, Missouri, on the following dates:

July 28, 29, 30
August 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, 20

CDL testing also will be temporarily relocated. The testing will be moved to the Sedalia Airport 1900 E. Booneville Road, Sedalia, Missouri. Testing at the fairgrounds will resume to normal business hours on August 25.

In support of "The Drive To ZERO Highway Deaths," the Patrol encourages motorists to protect themselves and their passengers by making sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint. Watercraft operators should ensure that everyone in the vessel is wearing an approved life jacket. Click It 4 Life And Wear It!!
