EMPHASIS: Results Of DWI Saturations In March


Captain Robert L. Powell, commanding officer Troop A, Lee's Summit, announces the results of three driving while intoxicated saturations conducted during the month of March 2010.
On March 13, 2010, four officers focused their attention on all major routes in Platte County. As a result of the eight-hour operation, three people were arrested for driving while intoxicated, one person was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant, and nine other citations were issued. In addition 32 warnings were issued.
On March 13, 2010, three officers focused their attention on all major routes in Clay County. As a result of the eight-hour operation, two people were arrested for driving while intoxicated, 21 misdemeanor warrant arrests were made, and 13 citations were issued. In addition 29 warnings were issued.
On March 17, 2010, two officers focused their attention on all major routes in Johnson County. As a result of the eight-hour operation, one individual was arrested for driving while intoxicated and six other citations were issued. In addition, 10 warnings were issued.
