EMPHASIS: Troop A To Conduct CDL Meeting


Captain Robert L. Powell, commanding officer of Troop A, announces the following: The Lee’s Summit Driver Examination Station and the Lee’s Summit CDL testing site will be closed on Thursday, July 24, 2008. Testing will resume on Friday, July 25, 2008. The Driver Examination Division of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop A, Lee’s Summit, Missouri, will host a training session and demonstration concerning the updated 2005 CDL Standards.
The meeting will begin at 9 a.m., Thursday, July 24, 2008, at the Troop A Supersite testing station located at 1950 N.E. Independence, Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Following the meeting, a demonstration of actual testing methods will be performed at the adjacent CDL testing lot.
The meeting will afford the Patrol the opportunity to demonstrate the basic skills maneuvers with Class “A” and Class “B” vehicles. The training will be beneficial to company trainers and students. Due to the limited seating space, the Patrol asks that no more than two representatives from each organization attend.
