EMPHASIS: DWI Saturation Results


Troopers issued a total of 12 arrests and 44 warnings as a result of a DWI saturation held in Andrew County. The eight-hour saturation was conducted on September 1, 2007. Arrests included five speeding, three seat belt, one uninsured motorist, two driver’s license violations, and one child restraint violation. No driving while intoxicated arrests were made.
Captain Duane L. Robinson, commanding officer of Troop H, stated, “This special operation allowed the Patrol to focus manpower in an area that has shown a history for alcohol-related traffic crashes.”
The Missouri State Highway Patrol has two telephone numbers for reporting emergencies such as an intoxicated driver. These numbers are *55 for cellular customers and 1-800-525-5555 for other calls.
