EMPHASIS: Results Of DWI Saturation In Buchanan County


Captain Duane L. Robinson, commanding officer of Troop H in St. Joseph, announces the results of a driving while intoxicated saturation held on May 3, 2008, in Buchanan County.
Troopers arrested two intoxicated drivers and issued 11 summonses and 100 warnings during the eight-hour operation. Troopers also arrested three persons for misdemeanor offenses and two who had outstanding misdemeanor warrants for their arrest. A total of 44 vehicles were stopped for violations.
Captain Robinson stated, “The saturation has become a part of a statewide quarterly program to target impaired drivers.”
