EMPHASIS: Promotion and Transfer


Captain Duane L. Robinson, commanding officer of Troop H in St. Joseph, announces a promotion and a transfer.
Corporal Tyson B. Gardner has been promoted to the rank of sergeant and designated zone commander of Zone 5 in St. Joseph. Zone 5 encompasses Andrew and Buchanan counties. Prior to his promotion, Gardner had been assigned to the Patrol’s commercial vehicle enforcement team in Troop H. He began his career with the Patrol in 1998 at Gallatin. In 2003 he transferred to Zone 5 in St. Joseph and remained there until his CVET assignment in 2008. Gardner is a native of St. Joseph and is a 1994 graduate of Central High School. He holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Missouri Western State University. Sergeant Gardner is married to the former Toni Dudik, also of St. Joseph.
Corporal Andrew A. Henry has transferred from Zone 10 in Cameron, to the Troop H commercial vehicle enforcement team. Henry is a 10-year veteran of the Patrol and holds a bachelor’s degree in administration of justice from Hannibal LaGrange College.
