EMPHASIS: Two New Troopers Assigned To Troop I

Captain James W. Remillard, commanding officer of Troop I, Rolla, is pleased to announce two new troopers have been assigned to Troop I. The new troopers were members of the Patrol’s 100th Recruit Class, which graduated on June 26, 2015. The troopers completed 26 weeks of intense training at the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy in Jefferson City, Missouri. The new troopers reported to their assignments on July 13, 2015. They will work with a field-training officer for approximately three months before working independently. The new troopers assigned to Troop I and their assignments are as follows:

Trooper Christopher S. Giacolone, 31, a native of Florrissant, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 1, serving Phelps and Maries counties. His field-training officer is Corporal Evan T. Hane. Trooper Giacolone is a graduate of John F. Hodge High School in St. James, Missouri. Prior to his appointment to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Trooper Giacolone was employed as a police officer in Rolla, Missouri. He is married to Michelle (Gibson) and has two sons, Luca and Dominic.

Trooper Chase A. Pulley, 25, a native of Richmond Heights, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 7, serving Dent County. His field-training officer is Trooper Gregory R. Moravec. Trooper Pulley is a graduate of Fort Zumwalt South High School in Saint Peters, Missouri, Saint Charles Community College in Cottleville, Missouri, and Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Prior to his appointment to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Trooper Pulley was employed as senior carpet technician with the True Clean Carpet Company in Maryland Heights, Missouri. He is an Eagle Scout and a Phi Theta Kappa alumnus.
