Captain Ronald S. Johnson, commanding officer of Troop C, Weldon Spring, announces the results of a driving while intoxicated saturation conducted on Friday, March 16, 2012, in St. Francois County. Four Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers conducted the enforcement operation during the eight-hour project.
As a result of the enforcement program, a total of 27 arrests were made and 21 warnings were issued. Of the 27 arrests, two persons were arrested for driving while intoxicated. Three summonses for speed, nine summonses for no seat belt, and 10 hazardous moving violations were issued. Two individuals were arrested for minor in possession and one subject was arrested on a felony warrant.
