EMPHASIS: Troop G Releases Checkpoint Totals
Captain Dwayne F. Isringhausen, commanding officer of Troop G, releases the following information:
A total of 49 arrests and 45 warnings were issued in conjunction with a sobriety checkpoint conducted in Reynolds County on May 26, 2012, near the intersection of Peola Road and County Road 364. Totals from this checkpoint include:
6 -- misdemeanor DWI arrests
12 -- seat belt summonses
1-- child restraint summons
4 -- non-moving summonses
2 -- driverās license summonses
10 -- uninsured motorists summonses
1-- felony warrant arrest
1 -- other felony arrest
3-- misdemeanor drug arrests
1 -- minor-in-possession arrest
3-- misdemeanor warrant arrests
5-- other misdemeanor criminal arrests
Captain Isringhausen says, āThe motoring public has been very supportive of the Missouri State Highway Patrolās efforts to make our roads safer through the use of sobriety checkpoints. Nobody wants to share the road with a drunk, drugged, or otherwise unsafe driver.ā
