EMPHASIS: Troop G Releases Results Of Texas County DWI Saturation


Captain Billy E. Chadwick, commanding officer of Troop G, releases the following information:

A total of 18 arrests and 29 warnings were issued in conjunction with a DWI saturation conducted on December 12, 2009 in Texas County. Totals from this saturation include:

3 -- speed summonses
5 -- seat belt violation summonses
1 -- driver’s license summons
2 -- non-moving summonses
2 -- no insurance summonses
3 -- minor-in-possession summonses
1 -- felony warrant arrest
1 -- misdemeanor warrant arrest

Captain Chadwick says, “The Missouri State Highway Patrol has always taken DWI enforcement very seriously. DWI saturations can be very effective in helping us achieve our traffic safety goals.”
