John H. Newell, 43, of St. Louis, Missouri, was identified as the driver of the vehicle. During the course of the traffic stop, permission to search was requested and granted. During the search 29 grams of crack cocaine were located. John H. Newell was arrested for possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and taken to the Scott County Jail.
