EMPHASIS:
Troop B Conducts Student Alliance Program
On Saturday, March 10, 2018, 15 Troop B area high school students representing 14 high schools completed the 2018 Troop B Missouri State Highway Patrol Student Alliance Program. The program was conducted at the Troop B Headquarters in Macon, MO, on Saturday, March 3, 2018, and Saturday, March 10, 2018. During the two-day program, students were familiarized with many duties performed by a Missouri state trooper, and participated in hands-on activities such as firing a Glock pistol, stop and approach, and crime scene investigations. The students observed a canine demonstration and heard presentations from several members and civilian employees of the Patrol. The program, which targeted juniors and seniors in high school, was conducted to provide an opportunity for interested individuals to learn more about law enforcement and the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Each participant was presented a certificate of completion and a Missouri State Highway Patrol T-shirt.
Students who completed the program were: John Clark, of Madison, MO; Madison Easley, of Baring, MO; Kimberly Gaul, of New Cambria, MO; Seth Herriman, of Bucklin, MO; Nicholas Keller, of Philadelphia, MO; Tristen Kice, of Arbela, MO; Tyler Kidd, of Trenton, MO; Brock Markway, of Excello, MO; Tyler McKinstry, of Keytesville, MO; Samantha Mihalovich, of Trenton, MO; Garret Moss, of Unionville, MO; Tala Saulmon, of Memphis, MO; Zane Still, of Huntsville, MO; Chase Stowers, of Salisbury, MO; and Colton Totsch, of Novinger, MO.
The only 100 percent survivable traffic crash is the one that never happens. Make sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint. Every day as we travel on Missouri’s roadways, we trust that every driver on the road is going to obey the speed limit, pay attention, and drive sober.
“Don’t Violate The Trust.”
