EMPHASIS: Former Kimberling City Accounting Clerk Arrested for Stealing





Captain Ron Replogle, Director of the Division of Drug and Crime Control (DDCC), announces as a result of a criminal investigation conducted by the Troop D Criminal Investigations Unit, Tangee K. Lamer, 49 of Forsyth, Missouri, was arrested on January 9, 2006, on 16 counts of felony stealing.



This investigation began at the request of the Kimberling City Police Department after the State Auditor’s Office discovered problems during a routine audit. This investigation revealed that over $32,000 was missing from city funds. Lamer was arrested and taken to the Stone County Sheriff’s Office where she posted a $10,000 surety bond.



The above charges are mere accusations and are not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
