EMPHASIS: Patrol's Gaming Division Announces March 1, 2018 Promotion
Captain Larry W. Plunkett Jr., director of the Gaming Division, General Headquarters, Jefferson City, MO, announces the following promotion effective March 1, 2018:
Trooper A. Keith Howery, Q/GD, is being promoted to the rank of corporal and will remain assigned to the Gaming Division, stationed at the Isle of Capri Casino in Boonville, MO.
Howery was appointed to the Patrol on January 1, 1993, as a member of the 65th Recruit Class. Upon graduating from the Patrol's Law Enforcement Academy, he was assigned to Troop F, Zone 11, Camden and Miller counties. He transferred to the Gaming Division, General Headquarters, and was assigned to the Isle of Capri Casino in Boonville, MO, in 2011.
Corporal Howery was born in Marshall, MO. He graduated from Marshall High School in Marshall, MO, in 1984. He then attended Missouri Valley College in Marshall, MO, where he studied criminal justice. Prior to joining the Patrol, Howery served as a police officer with the Marshall Police Department. Cpl. Howery and his wife, Kathy (Campbell), have three grown sons.
