EMPHASIS: Memorial Highway Dedication Honoring Fallen Trooper Robert Kolilis





On Friday November 17, 2006, a ceremony will be conducted to dedicate a portion of Missouri Highway “M” in Washington County and within the city limits of Irondale as the “Trooper Robert J. Kolilis Memorial Highway”.



Dedication Ceremonies will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the Missouri State Highway Patrol Service Center, located at 5268 Flat River Road, Park Hills, Missouri. This service will honor Trooper Robert Kolilis who was struck and killed by a pickup truck on Highway “M” in Washington County on September 21, 1988.



Senate Bill #667 establishes the Trooper Robert J. Kolilis Memorial Highway on Missouri Highway “M” in Washington County and within the city limits of Irondale, Missouri. The bill was signed by Governor Blunt and became effective on August 28, 2006.



The public is invited to attend the dedication ceremony.
