EMPHASIS: Arrest of Patrol Employee





Investigators for the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control arrested William F. Ault, 53, Wright City, MO, today in Warren County. Ault was charged with three counts of Statutory Sodomy (1st Degree Felony), two counts of Child Molestation (1st Degree Felony), and one count of Supplying Alcohol to a Minor (Misdemeanor). He was turned over to the Sheriff of Warren County.



Ault is a UCR Trainer/Auditor for the Criminal Records Division of the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Colonel Roger Stottlemyre, superintendent of the Patrol, placed Ault on Administrative Leave without pay pending the results of an internal investigation.



The above charges are mere accusations and are not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
