EMPHASIS: School Principal Charged with Forgery














Captain Ron Replogle, Director of the Division of Drug and Crime Control (DDCC), announces as a result of a criminal investigation conducted by the DDCC Criminal Investigators, Megan M. Lee, age 28, of Independence, Missouri, was arrested today on 8 counts of Forgery, she is currently being held on $10,000.00 bond in the Ray County Jail. Lee is currently the principal of the Wellington Napoleon Elementary School in Lafayette County. These charges stem from an investigation into missing school funds, while she was employed as the superintendent of the Mirabile C-1 School District, from 2002 thru 2004 in Mirabile, near Polo, Missouri.





The above charges are mere accusation and are not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
