EMPHASIS: Results of Troop E Driving While Intoxicated Saturation





Captain George E. Ridens, Commanding Officer, Troop E, Poplar Bluff announces the results of a Driving While Intoxicated Enforcement Program conducted from 11:00 p.m. on January 21, 2006 through 3:00 a.m. January 22, 2006 in Dunklin County. During the enforcement program, 13 officers made 31 arrests and issued 73 warnings. Of those arrests, 5 individuals were arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, 1 for Careless and Imprudent Driving, 3 for drug violations, 2 for Minor in Possession of Intoxicants, 7 for Failure to Wear a Safety Belt, 1 for a stop sign violation, 5 felony criminal arrests, and 7 others for non-moving violations.
