EMPHASIS: FBI Bank Robbery Suspect Apprehended By Trooper During Traffic Stop.

At 8 a.m. this morning, Joseph Paul Young, suspected bank robber, was apprehended during a traffic stop on Interstate 44 at the 42-mile marker in Lawrence County.

Joseph Young was traveling westbound on Interstate-44 at a slow speed, in a red Dodge Shadow, with a registration violation. The trooper initiated a traffic stop and a computer check revealed multiple felony warrants on Young. Young was arrested without incident and was transported to the Greene County Jail for processing. Joseph Young, 30, of Rogersville, MO, is wanted for felony robbery in Charleston West Virginia, felony robbery with a firearm Elizabethtown, Kentucky and felony probation and parole (robbery) in Missouri.

The charges for which the above person was arrested are mere accusations and not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of the above charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty it is to determine guilt or innocence
