EMPHASIS: Civilian Employee of the Year





Captain Ronald K. Replogle, Director of the Division of Drug and Crime Control (DDCC) is pleased to announce Van Godsey was named the Civilian Employee of the Year. Van has been a dedicated employee of the Criminal Division since August 1, 1995. He has served the Missouri Highway Patrol with distinction and the utmost professionalism.



Godsey is currently assigned as the supervisor of the Criminal Intelligence Section and his overwhelming dedication and selfless service to the Missouri State Highway Patrol has earned him the immense respect and appreciation of his employees, co-workers and the command staff of the Division of Drug and Crime Control. Van has spearheaded the research of both state and federal grant sources. His efforts have afforded the Patrol the opportunity to receive funding for several high visibility projects. These projects include, but are not limited to the Violent Crimes Support Unit, Missouri Statewide Police System (MoSpin), National Virtual Pointer System (NVPS) and the national recognition afforded to the Patrol as being and innovator in intelligence sharing initiatives throughout the Midwest.



Van Godsey has also played a key role in the implementation of the current teletype delivery system. He has become instrumental in the day-to-day operations of the Division of Drug and Crime Control. Van is an employee that exemplifies the highest standards and tradition of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
