EMPHASIS: Troop H Releases Memorial Day Enforcement Totals
Captain Clark N. Stratton, commanding officer, Troop H, St. Joseph, announces the following traffic totals for the Memorial Day holiday period. Troop H troopers participated in several enforcement operations from Friday, May 27, 2022, through Monday, May 30, 2022, meaning every available trooper was on the road enforcing traffic laws and assisting motorists. The special operations were designed to reduce traffic crashes and provide assistance to the motoring public. During the reporting period, Troop H reported no fatal traffic crashes and investigated 18 vehicle crashes resulting in six injuries. Also, troopers arrested four persons for driving while intoxicated and 10 for drug violations. Additional totals from these special operations include 152 citations, 289 warnings, and 41 motorists assisted.
