EMPHASIS: Bank Robbery Investigation





Captain Ron Replogle, Director of the Division of Drug and Crime Control (DDCC), announces as a result of a joint bank robbery investigation with the Dunklin County Sheriff’s Department, Dunklin County Prosecutor’s Office and members of the Troop-E Investigations Unit, arrests warrants for Robbery in the First Degree and Armed Criminal Action were obtained for two Memphis, Tennessee brothers.



The armed robbery of the First State Community Bank of Malden, Missouri, occurred on May 22, 2002. The two sought for these charges are; Steve Martin, age 22 and Clarence D. Martin, age 27, both of Memphis Tennessee. These two men are currently being held in the Shelby County, Tennessee Jail on unrelated charges. This investigation is being continued.



The above charges are mere accusations and are not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
