EMPHASIS: Drug Arrests
Captain Ron Replogle, Director of the Division of Drug and Crime Control announces, as a result of a one year joint narcotics investigation with the Lake Area Narcotics Group, Sullivan Police Department, St. James Police Department, Maries, Gasconade, Phelps County Sheriff’s Offices and the Missouri State Highway Patrol, nine individuals were arrested for Distribution, Delivery, Manufacture, Production, or Possession with Intent to Distribute, Deliver, Manufacture, or Produce a Controlled Substance or Possession of a Controlled Substance.
The Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group is a multi-jurisdictional drug task force, which is coordinated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Member agencies include the Sheriff Offices of Camden County, Gasconade County, Pulaski County, Maries County, Laclede County, Dallas County, as well as the Osage Beach and Lebanon Police Departments.
The names of the individuals arrested are listed below:
Ashley Shipp, age 19, of Vienna, Missouri
Teresa Norton, age 34, of Belle, Missouri
Jack Daniels, age 41, of Bland, Missouri
John Finley, age 44, of Belle, Missouri
Ronald Berry, age 39, of Sullivan, Missouri
Diane Copeland, age 47, of St. James, Missouri
Christopher Stamm, age 30, of St. James, Missouri
Michelle Stamm, age 35, of St. James, Missouri
Daniel Henry, age 24, of Richland, Missouri
In addition to the above mentioned individuals, felony arrests warrants have been issued for an additional four subjects, who are currently being sought by police. During the arrest of the individuals and in conjunction with a search warrant, which was served simultaneously in Maries County, marijuana and methamphetamine were seized as further evidence of drug related crimes.
The above charges are mere accusations and are not evidence of guilt. Evidence of guilt in support of these charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
