EMPHASIS: New Trooper In Camden/Miller Counties

Captain D.A. Schmidt, commanding officer, Troop F, Missouri State Highway Patrol, has announced that Trooper Scott B. White, a member of the 86th Recruit Class, has been assigned to Troop F, Zone 11, which encompasses Camden/Miller counties.
Tpr. White, 34, was previously employed as an officer with the Carthage, Missouri, Police Department. He was employed by the Patrol as a recruit on January 8, 2007, and graduated from the Patrol Academy on July 13, 2007.
Tpr. White is a graduate of Pemberton Township High School, Pemberton Township, NJ. In 1998, he earned a bachelor’s of science degree in criminal justice from Missouri Southern State University, Joplin, MO. He will begin his new assignment on July 30, 2007. The new trooper will work under the supervision of Sergeant Charles L. Hammond, and his field training officer will be Trooper Steven R. Gisselbeck.
