EMPHASIS: Missouri Information Analysis Center (MIAC) Director Appointed


Colonel James F. Keathley, superintendent of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, announces effective April 6, 2009, Lieutenant David A. Hall is being appointed director of the Missouri Information Analysis Center.

Lt. Hall previously was assigned as a district lieutenant at Troop F, Jefferson City. Lt. Hall became employed with the Missouri State Highway Patrol on January 1, 1993. After graduating from the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy, he was assigned to Troop B, Zone 7, Knox and Lewis counties. In September 1997, he transferred to the Division of Drug and Crime Control in Troop B. He was promoted to corporal on October 1, 2000. On August 24, 2003, he was promoted to the rank of sergeant within the Division of Drug and Crime Control. On January 7, 2007, he was promoted to lieutenant and assigned to Troop F Headquarters.

Lt. Hall is a 1986 graduate of Monroe City High School, Monroe City, MO, and graduated from the University of LaVerne, CA, in 1992, with a bachelor’s of science degree in business management. Lt. Hall has a master’s degree in criminal justice from Columbia College in Columbia, MO.

Lt. Hall has received extensive training in criminal investigation and techniques while employed by the Patrol. He worked closely with other law enforcement agencies during various types of investigations while assigned to the Division of Drug and Crime Control in northern Missouri.

“I am confident Lt. Hall has the experience and expertise necessary to oversee the functions of the Missouri Information Analysis Center,” said Colonel Keathley.

Lt. Hall is married to Lora (Kroeger) of Palmyra, MO, and they have three children.
