March Enforcement Projects Announced For Troop E
Captain Jeffrey N. Vitale, commanding officer of Troop E, Poplar Bluff, announces that sometime during the month of March, Troop E officers will conduct a driving while intoxicated saturation, a hazardous moving vehicle enforcement operation, and a motor carrier safety assistance program (MCSAP).
“Special enforcement operations such as these enable the Missouri State Highway Patrol to enhance our efforts in removing impaired drivers from our highways,” stated Captain Vitale. “Driving impaired and distracted continue to be the leading causes of traffic crashes in Missouri.”
The only 100 percent survivable traffic crash is the one that never happens. Make sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint. Every day as we travel on Missouri’s roadways, we trust that every driver on the road is going to obey the speed limit, pay attention, and drive sober.
“Don’t Violate The Trust.”
