EMPHASIS: Troop E Announces Results Of Sobriety Checkpoint And DWI Saturation


Captain George E. Ridens, commanding officer of Troop E, Poplar Bluff, announces the results of a sobriety checkpoint conducted in Butler County on December 14, 2012, and a DWI saturation conducted throughout the Troop E area on December 15, 2012. A total of 219 vehicles were stopped during the four-hour operation. Members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol made the following enforcement contacts:

8 -- Driving While Intoxicated Arrests
10 -- Seat Belt Summonses
10 -- Non-Moving Summonses
9 -- Driver’s License Summonses
3 -- Uninsured Motorist Summonses
3 -- Drug Arrests
3-- Misdemeanor Warrant Arrests
2 -- Misdemeanor Criminal Arrests
69 -- Warnings
