Troop D Announces Results Of Motor Carrier Safety Assistance Program SAFETE Operations
Captain Juan Villanueva, commanding officer of Troop D, announces the results of Motor Carrier Safety Assistance Program SAFETE operation in Jasper County on March 28, 2018.
During the operation troopers stopped 17 commercial vehicles and one passenger vehicle. Additionally, troopers conducted 16 commercial vehicle inspections which resulted in one driver being placed out-of-service. Troopers issued 31 warnings for hazardous moving and other various offenses.
The only 100 percent survivable traffic crash is the one that never happens. Make sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint. Every day as we travel on Missouri’s roadways, we trust that every driver on the road is going to obey the speed limit, pay attention, and drive sober.
“Don’t Violate The Trust.”
