EMPHASIS:
Troop B Promotion And Transfers
Captain James E. Wilt, commanding officer of Troop B, Macon, announces the following Troop B promotion and transfers effective August 1, 2016.
Trooper Cary F. Porter was promoted to corporal and designated the assistant zone commander of Zone 2, Macon and Shelby counties. He is a native of Warsaw, Illinois, and graduated from Warsaw Senior High School. Corporal Porter was appointed to the Patrol on January 7, 2007, and after graduating from the Patrol Academy was assigned to Troop B, Zone 11, Monroe and Randolph counties. On October 1, 2009, he transferred to Zone 5, Adair and Schuyler counties.
Trooper Donald P. Borgmeyer will transfer from Troop B, Zone 4, Putnam and Sullivan counties, to Zone 5, Adair and Schuyler counties. He is a native of Fenton, Missouri, and graduated from the Vianney High School in Kirkwood, Missouri. He holds an associate’s degree in finance from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Trooper Borgmeyer was appointed to the Patrol on January 5, 2015, and after graduating from the Patrol Academy was assigned to Troop B, Zone 4.
Trooper Brandon S. Pearson will transfer from Troop B, Zone 3, Chariton and Linn counties, to Zone 4, Putnam and Sullivan counties. He is a native of Green City, Missouri, and graduated from the Green City R-1 High School. He holds an associate’s degree in general studies from North Central Missouri College in Trenton, Missouri. Trooper Pearson was appointed to the Patrol on July 1, 2014, and after graduating from the Patrol Academy was assigned to Troop B, Zone 3.
The only 100 percent survivable traffic crash is the one that never happens. Make sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint. Every day as we travel on Missouri’s roadways, we trust that every driver on the road is going to obey the speed limit, pay attention, and drive sober.
