EMPHASIS: Troop E Officers To Conduct "Click It 4 Life" Campaign

Captain George E. Ridens, commanding officer of Troop E, Poplar Bluff, announces that during the months of October, November, and December, officers in the Troop E area will be conducting a “Click It 4 Life” campaign. The primary focus of the campaign is to target aggressive or impaired driving while strictly enforcing the seat belt and child restraint laws. The education of seat belts and proper use of child restraints will be promoted through the distribution of “Click It 4 Life” flyers.

Captain Ridens said, “Missouri is currently experiencing a nine-percent increase in traffic fatalities compared to this time last year. We will continue to enforce all traffic laws to help make our highways as safe as possible for all travelers.”

The Missouri State Highway Patrol encourages motorists to protect themselves from all types of hazardous drivers by making sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint. Click It 4 Life!
