EMPHASIS:
New Troopers Assigned To Troop F
Captain Michael A. Turner, commanding officer of Troop F, Jefferson City, is pleased to announce the assignment of eight new troopers to Troop F. The new troopers were members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s 103rd Recruit Class that graduated from the Patrol Academy on December 30, 2016. The new troopers report for duty on January 17, 2017.
Trooper Nolan A. Bax, a native of Bonnots Mill, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 8, which serves the citizens of Callaway County. Trooper Bax graduated from Fatima High School in Westphalia, Missouri. After graduating high school, he attended Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Trooper Bax’s field training officer will be Corporal Justin W. Turner, and his zone supervisor will be Sergeant Jerry L. Arnold.
Trooper Andrew W. Lawman, a native of Bolivar, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 15, which serves the citizens of Callaway County. Trooper Lawman graduated from Southern Boone County High School in Ashland, Missouri. After graduating high school, he attended Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in management. Trooper Lawman was previously employed at Pomme de Terre State Park in Pittsburg, Missouri. His field training officer will be Trooper David L. Fouch, and his zone supervisor will be Sergeant Ryan S. Thompson.
Trooper Gentry T. Pemberton, a native of Centralia, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 3, which serves the citizens of Boone County. Trooper Pemberton graduated from Centralia High School in Centralia, Missouri. After graduating high school, he attended the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri, majoring in psychology. Trooper Pemberton was previously employed as an emergency medical technician at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. His field training officer will be Corporal Scott A. Ballard, and his zone supervisor will be Sergeant Michael A. Halford.
Trooper Max R. Lawson, a native of Iberia, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 18, which serves the citizens of Miller County. After his initial field training, Trooper Lawson will be assigned to marine operations at Lake of the Ozarks. Trooper Lawson graduated from Iberia High School in Iberia, Missouri, and was previously employed as a Miller County sheriff’s deputy in Tuscumbia, Missouri. Trooper Lawson’s field training officer will be Trooper Timothy C. Fick, and his zone supervisor will be Sergeant James E. Lowary.
Trooper Aaron A. Lindley, a native of Meta, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 17, which serves the Lake of the Ozarks area. After his initial field training, Trooper Lindley will be assigned to marine operations at Lake of the Ozarks. Trooper Lindley graduated from Fatima High School in Westphalia, Missouri. After graduating high school, he attended University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Missouri, and Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri. He was previously employed at Jefferson City Flying Service in Jefferson City, Missouri. Trooper Lindley’s field training officer will be Trooper Aaron A. Starnes, and his zone supervisor will be Sergeant Chris S. Daniels.
Trooper Shane W. Mahaney, a native of Wentzville, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 11, which serves the citizens of Camden County. After his initial field training, Trooper Mahaney will be assigned to marine operations at Lake of the Ozarks. Trooper Mahaney graduated from Holt High School in Wentzville, Missouri. After graduating high school, he attended the University of Missouri-St. Louis, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in criminology/criminal justice. Trooper Mahaney was previously employed at Rail Logistics in St. Louis, Missouri. His field training officer will be Trooper Matthew R. Parker, and his zone supervisor will be Sergeant Matthew J. Cody.
Trooper Sadie D. Turnbull, a native of Columbia, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 16, which serves the Lake of the Ozarks area. After her initial field training, Trooper Turnbull will be assigned to marine operations at Lake of the Ozarks. Trooper Turnbull graduated from Rock Bridge High School in Columbia, Missouri. After graduating high school, she attended the Moberly Area Community College in Columbia, Missouri, where she earned an associate’s degree in criminal justice. She also attended the University of Missouri in Columbia, majoring in general studies. Trooper Turnbull was previously employed at Midwest Electronic Systems in Columbia, Missouri. Her field training officer will be Corporal J. Wes Collins, and her zone supervisor will be Corporal Stephen M. Burgun.
Trooper Jesse J. Wagner, a native of Ash Grove, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 6, which serves citizens in Morgan and Moniteau counties. After his initial field training, Trooper Wagner will be assigned to marine operations at Lake of the Ozarks. Trooper Wagner graduated from Ash Grove R-IV High School in Ash Grove, Missouri. After graduating high school, he attended Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri. Trooper Wagner was previously employed at True Value Hardware in Ash Grove, Missouri. His field training officer will be Corporal Matthew L. Rice, and his zone supervisor will be Sergeant Donald R. Barbour.
