EMPHASIS: Montgomery City Police Shooting



Kelly Broniec Montgomery County Prosecuting Attorney announces as a result of the ongoing investigation into the Montgomery City Police shooting on June 2, 2006, Bryan Tullock, age 32, of St Peters, Missouri has been charged with: First Degree Murder, two counts of First Degree Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer, two counts of First Degree Assault, five counts of Armed Criminal Action, and Burglary First Degree. Tullock will be held in the Montgomery County Jail on no bond, after his release from the University of Missouri Medical Center.



Heidi L. Casagrand, age 32, was shot and killed during the incident at her home located at 602 Salisbury Street, Montgomery City. Ricky Fry, age 33, of Montgomery City was also shot several times while walking in front of his home at 619 Curd Street. Fry is currently hospitalized at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur, Missouri. Tullock knew both Fry and Casagrand prior to the shooting. The names of the officers involved are not being released at this time.



The above charges are mere accusations and are not evidence of guilt; evidence of guilt will be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
