On October 11, 2006, a search warrant was executed at the James Rusty Daugherty residence at 5362 Wallen Road, Eunice, Missouri. The warrant was issued pursuant to a short-term narcotics investigation.

A search of the dwelling revealed a non-operational methamphetamine laboratory, methamphetamine, approximately ten pounds of processed marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and numerous firearms to include a sawed-off shotgun.

Arrested at the residence was James Rusty Daugherty, 41. Daugherty was charged with Felony Possession of Marijuana; Manufacture of Marijuana; Manufacture of Methamphetamine; Possession of Methamphetamine; Felony Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; Misdemeanor Possession of Paraphernalia; Possession of Illegal Firearm; and Maintaining a Public Nuisance. He is incarcerated at the Texas County Sheriff’s Department.
